Vopak, the world largest independent tank terminal operator sold its Dordrecht based tank terminal to Hametha in Alblasserdam. The core business of Standic is tank storage & handling of liquid chemical products including a.o. phenolics, petroleum products, and vegetable oils. The capacity of the terminals is 125.000 m3. The majority of clients are international companies mainly focussing on distribution. Hametha already owns an adjacent tank terminal. The acquisition means strengthening of its storage capabilities. Solveigh advised Vopak in this transaction.
